Refurbished Veterans Museum Re-opens
New exhibits of military uniforms, artifacts and memorabilia, along with the unveiling of a stunning bronze Tribute Eagle highlighted the re-dedication of the completely refurbished Westchester Veterans Museum held May 18, 2013.
Several local veterans joined county officials to unveil the eagle, which was sculpted by wildlife artist Mike Curtis of Idaho. The all-new exhibits of artifacts, photographs, maps and memorabilia include an interactive video featuring veterans' accounts of their wartime experiences and an exhibit titled "Wartime in Our Parks."
